I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Susan's family and friends, and appreciate her daughter chris for contacting me.
I first met sue in 1968 when she and the family moved to Lancaster, California.
Sue eventually move to Morganton, NC and seen her several times when I was transferred to Tennessee. I recall visiting her and the family in Morganton shortly after a fire in their home,
When she moved to Altus, AR I visited with her and the family several times.
The illness Sue had is a terrible disease, as we lost our youngest son to cancer in 2010.
Again my condolences to the family and may Susan rest in peace in heaven

You were an amazing person with a beautiful soul and you meant more to me than you will ever know. You will forever be in my thoughts. You have so many who loved you and will continue to love and miss you dearly. Glad I got to see you, love always.

  We first met not long before you and my son, Rick was married.  Since that time I have watched the two of you and how much happiness you brought each other.You two was soul buddies.  You enjoyed the same things and no matter the project you two worked side by side.  You and Rick learned how to use your sewing machines to make beautiful art, You both loved working outdoors together, be it yard, flowers, vegetables or even weeds.  You two have a love of animals.  You got my son back into church and because of this my son was baptized and with this the trust and faith in God. It is what has carried you both through this last transition of life.  For all of this I will be ever grateful. You loved your children as only a mother can. You have the past few years enjoyed having your sister Nancy so close. I have said that I hope to live my life in such a way that when I pass I will truly be missed.  You have done just that.  We love you and will miss you.

Susie, When I first met you, I thought to myself, what a beautiful woman inside and out. You shined with so much joy, love and happiness. You were one of those special people you meet in your life, that you just enjoy being around. You will continue to shine and fill the heavens above with so much joy.
You truly will be missed.

Susie, we will miss you so much.  You made my son totally happy.  The two of you was soul buddies, you worked side by side.  Had fun with your sewing together.  You created beautiful pieces of art with your sewing machines. You both loved animals, gardening together.  You sent me pictures of my son's baptism.  How precious.  Thank you for that I am eternally grateful.  With the faith in God, it has carried you both through this transition .  We love you and will miss you.

Susie thank you so much for being such an awesome wife to my brother! As mom has said you two were soul mates. You gave him the best gift anyone could ever have, the gift of eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ! How wonderful it will be when we all have a reunion in Heaven! God Bless You!!!

The Ernst Family is lifting you up in prayer...for comfort, for love and for Hope to be together with our sweet Jesus. Continue allowing the Holy Spirit to comfort and guide you and never forget that Abba has you under His wing. Take peace in knowing we are resting in His green pastures until He comes for us SOON!

Melanie and I are deeply sorrowful of hearing that Susie has grabbed the hand of Jesus and is now walking on streets of gold with a completely cancer free body, never to suffer ever again! We've been provided with a perfect circle of life. We are not meant for cruel and unusual suffering. Another Angel has ascended to comfort and instruct us in times of need. Susie was so gracious and hospitable and loved her country and her family... so much. Susie, when we met over ten years ago, who would have known that we would become best friends. We had so many things and ideals in common. We could talk about anything from our love of God,family,and sewing to politics.
There are so many things that bounce around in my thoughts about you. You loved hearts, in jewlery or embroidery projects. You weren't fond of the color orange which made it interesting to make Fall projects.
We cried and laughed together just two weeks ago in the hospital.
We knew that God was preparing your home in Heaven and that you would be watching over all of us.
Your friendship is one of my most valued assets.

Susie, my dear sister, my best friend, my anchor to faith, family, and love, was always there for me in times of joy as well as trials.  I admired her, trusted her advice, talked politics with her (and a million other things), laughed with her, and cried with her, and loved her.  I can only begin to fathom the depth of loss her husband and children are experiencing.  I thank them for sharing her with me.

There are so many things to say and not enough room.  So I'll just say that,I met Susie over fifty years ago.  Her first day at St. Peter's School in Roswell, N.M.  We became friends and would hang out with our friends and do crazy things.  Like driving in a friend's (John's) convertible to Riverside, N.M. in a snow storm with the top down to get a cup of coffee.  
 When I heard of Susie being sick,I knew that all who knew her, would lose a part of our hearts.  Then she left us, and we lost a beautiful woman whom in recent years reminded me of my faith.  I'm so glad she returned to the church and found peace.
  Rick, God Bless you and your family.  Soon the pain of your loss will lessen and you will remember all of the good times, the laughs, the way she talked and said things.  Her mannerisms and her loving heart.  Susie, "Requiescat In Pace, Rest In Peace," as there is no pain or sorrow in Heaven.  Your last words to me were that we, all of us, would meet there. My dear dear Susie...how many laughs and tears we shared.  How many prayers we prayed. We     didnt always agree but I loved you dearly. I will look forward to that cup of coffee with you in heaven. You can't imagine how many people in AR that are mourning your passing. I will always remember our trip to Tulsa and how we laughed and how you hated the elevator in the City of Faith. We rode it anyway didnt we? All 60 floors.You were and will always remain in my heart and among my sweetest memories. To think you are seeing Him face to face!!! I'm so sorry to hear of Susie's illness and passing. We were only inlaws for a short time and never really got to know each other. But I'm devastated that you are gone. So many people will miss you.

Susie you have brought me more laughter, smiles and warmth in our short time together than you ever knew. You brought me to the Lord as I had strayed from Him. That's my biggest gain from you. You were a Patriot for sure. Rest easy now sweetie. I look forward to seeing you again in Heaven
