

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fruita. Cremation has taken place.
Ms. Koester was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Bo Koester-Nix of Palisade; two daughters, Amber Koester of Grand Junction and Jasmine Nix of Fruita; two brothers, Clinton Strebel of Grand Junction and Michael Strebel of Henderson, Nevada; a sister, Jennifer Nix of Fruita; and four grandchildren.

Tamela Sue Koester, 55, passed away on November 29, 2015, after a long illness. She was born on July 25, 1960, in Denver, CO, to Kenneth and Joan Strebel.
Tamela was a homemaker and had been a resident of Palisade for more than 15 years.
She is survived by her son, Bo Koester-Nix of Palisade; daughters, Amber Sue Koester of Grand Junction, and Jasmine D. Nix of Fruita; brothers, Clinton Strebel of Grand Junction, and Michael Strebel of Henderson, NV; sister, Jennifer Nix of Fruita, and three grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fruita, CO. Cremation has taken place.
