Taylor Wayne Catt passed away peacefully at his home in Fruita, CO on December 30th, 2024 after a year long battle with stomach cancer. Taylor was born in Grand Junction, CO on January 3rd, 1986 and was only 38 years old.
Taylor was a humble fighter who loved God and his son Rylan Catt more than anything in this world. Taylor was a devoted father and friend to many impacting all those around him with his infectious smile, his kindness, and his love for others. He was genuine, trustworthy, and lived his life with contentment and integrity. He was goofy and could always make you laugh and see the bright side of everything even in life’s darkest moments. Taylor was relatable, likeable, and connected with people from all walks of life. Even towards the end of his life Taylor lived it to the fullest telling everyone he loved them and giving us all hugs while joking about how much cancer changed his body. Taylor had the ability to make us cry and laugh in the same breath.
Taylor attended Fruita Monument High School graduating in 2004. He was highly competitive and excelled at sports including football and track. After high school Taylor went to work in the oil field and his hard work ethic earned him respect among his peers. Taylor worked at QB Energy as a foreman and had many coworkers who he considered his best friends.
Taylor is survived by his son, Rylan Catt, age 15, his parents Roy and Linda Catt, his sister and brother Jennifer and Joe Landini, niece Kailee Landini, nephew Kasen Landini, and Rylan’s sister Kiera Miller.
