Thomas Edwin Lines

Tom grew up in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and joined the Navy right after high school. Tom married Kitty after his discharge and had three children; Cynthia, Nick, and Chris, living a peaceful life in Meeker, Colorado. He relocated later in life to Grand Junction, Colorado and remarried Shirley taking an active role in raising her three children; Warren, Wendy, and Journy. After relocating and a job transfer, Tom and Shirley worked side by side for Colorado Division of Wildlife until his retirement after serving 27 years in a career that he absolutely loved. A man of great pride, kindness and honor, he was always stepping in to help others following his retirement and kept at it for the entire ride. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, many friends and additional extended family members. Tom is survived y a very large and a very heartbroken family, including spouse(s), children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is missed every day by a family that was grateful to have him and appreciate the inspiration he is still giving A private military service with military honors will take place for close family and friends. Details for a celebration of life will follow. At this time we have not decided on a chatity for donations in memory of him. Since he gave to ALL of them and gave like they were monthly utility bills, when we do pin-point one that serves the purpose, we will update for anyone that may choose to give in his honor,
