She is survived by her husband, Jeremy; one son, Seth Landon of Grand Junction; her mother Bonnie Wiles-Wilson of Lynchburg, Virginia; and two sisters, Misty Grossman of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Aneesa Bacon of Abilene, Texas.
Tracey Lynn Zollinger, 46, of Grand Junction passed away after a battle with cancer on February 13, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Midland, Texas on January 3, 1969 and was raised by her mother. She met Jeremy Zollinger in 1995 and they married 3 years later on September 5th, 1998.
Tracey’s main priority, heart and soul was her son, Seth. She was an honorary mother and care-taker to all, she volunteered her time at CASA advocating as the voice for children having been removed from their families. Tracey was full of life always putting others before herself. She enjoyed cooking, camping, riding four-wheelers, dancing, listening to music, spending time with family and friends. She was always the life of the party, telling jokes, making people laugh and making them feel at home. Tracey’s honesty, ambition, drive and passion about her beliefs were never questionable.
Tracey was an extremely hard worker and was passionate about her career of 25 years in the printing business. Her passion showed throughout her work as she advanced in her career to sales of printing supplies and services.
Having been born in Texas, Tracey found solitude in being outdoors and basking in the sun. Tracey, Jay & Seth enjoyed many tropical outdoor vacations together with her favorite vacation spot being Kauai, Hawaii as they snorkeled, went on a helicopter ride & catamaran tour around the Napali Coast having the rare opportunity to see 9 hump back whales with 2 swimming right underneath them, as well as seeing Spinner and Bottle Nose dolphins and a huge sea turtle.
Tracey is survived by her husband Jeremy Zollinger of Grand Junction, their son Seth Landon Zollinger; her mother Bonnie Wiles-Wilson of Lynchburg, Virginia; sister Aneesa Bacon and her children Kayla & Kolton Bacon of Abilene, Texas; and sister and brother-in-law Misty & Eric Grossman and their children Zoie and Zien Grossman of Lynchburg, Virginia; her long-time friend of 24 years Angie Burnham and family of San Saba, Texas; Jay’s cousin Tracie Manwaring of Phoenix, Arizona; 8 cousins, 2 aunts, 2 uncles, 16 second cousins and 9 third cousins.
She is preceded in death by grandparents Larry (Pap-paw) & Louise (Mam-maw) Wiles, her step-father Curtis Wilson, and Eleanor Wiles.
