Ms. Bell was the manager of a gift center.
She is survived by two sons, Donald R. of Colorado Springs and Jerry J. of Grand Junction; one daughter, Sharon D. Sexson of Centennial; one brother, Joe Hamm of Elkhart, Texas; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Velma Hamm Belt
April 21, 1918 - July 5, 2015
Velma was born in Sidney, Arkansas, raised in West Texas, and was a Colorado resident for over 73 years. She passed away at Larchwood P.A.R.C. on July 5, 2015, at the age of 97.
She was the bookkeeper for Belt's Conoco and the manager of the Mor Value Stamp Store. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. Her home was the center of activity for many years. She resided at Mesa View Retirement Residence for the last eight years.
Velma was preceded in death by her husband, D.B.; sister, Vera, and brother. R.L. She is survived by a brother, Joe (Shirley) of Elk Hart, Texas; three children, Bob (Arlene) of Colorado Springs; Jerry (Diane) of Grand Junction, and Sharon (Dale) of Centennial; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, along with a host of friends. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love her.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Community Hospital, Larchwood P.A.R.C., and Mesa View for the love and care given to Velma.
