Born on September 23, 2007, Victor’s life, though far too brief, was a testament to love, joy, and unwavering devotion to his family, friends, and faith. He touched everyone around him with his kindness, his laughter, and the warmth of a heart that always cared deeply. Victor’s presence brought light into the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
A proud graduate of the Class of 2024, Victor completed his high school education and had plans to attend Colorado Mesa University in the fall of 2026. He aspired to earn an Advanced Automotive Service Technician degree, reflecting his passion for hands-on work and his dedication to building a meaningful and fulfilling future, inspired greatly by his hardworking grandfather, Isidro Reyes.
In August 2025, Victor began working at OMNI Linen Service, a place that quickly became more than just a job—it became a source of joy, pride, and connection for him. He often spoke with a warm smile about his coworkers, grateful for the friendships he found there. He poured his heart into his work, showing up each day with quiet determination and a kindness that never went unnoticed. Victor’s presence had a way of lifting spirits; wherever he went, he carried a warmth and positivity that touched everyone around him, leaving an imprint of love and gentleness that will never fade.
Victor was known for his kind heart, his generosity, and his unwavering loyalty. He lived by the belief that family is everything, and he carried that truth in every choice he made. He put others before himself without hesitation, offering help, comfort, and love with a sincerity that touched everyone around him.
Victor found joy in life’s simple, beautiful moments—hiking Colorado’s scenic trails, casting a line into quiet waters, camping beneath the stars. He loved playing video games, listening to music, watching football surrounded by family, and discovering new foods with curiosity and excitement. No matter the day, he could always find a reason to stop for a sweet treat, his smile widening at even the smallest indulgence.
And through it all, his loyal dog King was by his side—his constant companion, his shadow, his comfort. Their bond was pure and steadfast, a reflection of Victor’s gentle spirit and the love he carried so effortlessly.
A proud Christian, Victor’s faith shaped the way he lived—with compassion, humility, and grace.
He is lovingly remembered by his mothers, Rebecca Rosales-Gonzales and Jaime Rosales-Gonzales; his father, Victor Reyes Maciel; his sisters, Nevaeh Reyes and Jennassi Gonzales; his brother, Ezra Reyes; his grandmothers, Susana Rosales, Juana Maciel, and Juana Trejo; his grandfathers, Isidro Reyes and Claude Barrett; his great-grandfather, Fred Barrett; and his great-grandmothers, Margaret Barrett and Paula Rosales.
Vic was also deeply loved by many more family members—cousins, aunts, uncles, he has a wide circle of relatives who will forever miss his presence, his laughter, and the love he shared so freely.
Victor was welcomed into Heaven’s embrace alongside his cherished cousin, Josiah Michael Rosales. Their bond was something rare and sacred—two souls intertwined from childhood, always more like brothers than cousins. They grew together, protected each other, and found comfort in one another through every chapter of life. Their laughter, their loyalty, their shared dreams—these were the threads that wove their lives together. Now, in God’s eternal light, they walk side by side reunited in perfect peace, just as their hearts would have wanted.
Victor also finds eternal rest with his uncles, Ryan Gonzales and Emilyo Ramirez and cousin Tanner Chesnut. Wrapped in the arms of those who went before him, he is surrounded by a love that has no end. Though his absence on Earth is felt beyond words, Heaven now holds him close, whole and at peace, watched over by the family who welcomes him home.
May his memory always bring comfort to those who knew him.
