William Ted Marsh (Bill) - dedicated husband, father and grandfather, passed away at his home, on August 23, 2023, after battling cancer. Prior to his passing, he was surrounded by his wife, his three boys and his grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
Bill was born to Ted and Isabelle Marsh in Sheridan, Montana. Bill graduated from Sheridan High School and later attended college for two years. He enlisted in the Army National Guard and met his wife, Linda. They soon wed and had three children whom he adored. At approximately 40 years of age, Bill and his family moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming before ultimately settling in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Bill was a business owner and worked tirelessly. When not working, he spent the majority of his time with Linda and his sons. He traveled to all of their football games and spent countless hours sitting on bleachers watching them wrestle (Bill rarely if ever missed one of their games or tournaments).
Bill spent time outdoors with his boys, teaching them how to camp, hunt and fish. The greatest lesson he taught his sons was how to be loving and caring fathers and husbands. The greatest gift he gave to his children was the amount of time he spent with them.
Bill deeply loved his wife, Linda. He would routinely bring Linda home flowers and lovingly called her “grandma” ever since their first grandchild was born. Bill and Linda were married for 52 years and had many great adventures during those times.
A celebration of life for Bill will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, CO 81505.
Flowers to be sent to Callahan-Edfast Mortuary for the family to enjoy during the celebration.
