I just want to express my condolences to the Noxon family.  I was a freshman at Fruita High School during the 1952-53 school year.  I believe that was Mr. Noxon's first year of teaching.  He was my biology teacher during my sophomore year.  I still have the workbook that we filled out that year.  Biology wasn't one of my favorite subjects but he was one of my favorite teachers.  Our class has been privileged to have Mr. and Mrs. Noxon attend several of our class reunions.  I know that as an adult I could have called him Bill but my respect for him just wouldn't let me do it.  Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

My sincere condolences to the Noxon Family. Bill  gave me an opportunity to play college football and receive a degree that would change my life.  It was a honor and pleasure to play for and start my coaching career under Bill. He was a great man. Everything he did brought the best out of people. He will be truly missed but remembered every time we think of Western State or our time shared in Gunnison.

Uncle Bill was a steady mainstay in the Bergman family life. He loved life and family and we always knew that he was there for us! The Noxon and Bergman family were one together . How lucky we were to have him show us daily that life was to be relished, hard work was a virtue but blessings flowed every day. Bill was always positive and we will miss him every day!

My sincere condolences to the Noxon family for the loss of the greatest football coach and person that I have ever been associated with. In 1970 when he came to WSC my life was changed forever. He and his staff showed us what positive reinforcement could do for a group of downtrodden and demoralized football players. Not a week passes in my life that I don't have a memory of my days with those great, great, great BIll Noxon teams. THANK YOU from the bottom my heart Bill Noxon for being a part of my life and letting me be a part of yours.
