William Earl Simms

The time we shared with William will never feel like enough. We cherish every memory we were fortunate to make with him, while mourning all those we will never have the chance to create. That heartbreak serves as a reminder that he was here, that he mattered, and that nothing could ever diminish the love we have for him.

William was a goofy kid with a remarkable sense of humor. He had a gift for making people laugh, often at the most inappropriate times, and it was impossible not to smile when he was around. He approached life with enthusiasm and confidence, eager to try new things and determined to succeed. An adventurer at heart, William embraced every opportunity that came his way.

He had an incredible appreciation for music and listened to just about every genre imaginable. William also loved food, whether it was a favorite meal or something a little more questionable. If there was something to eat, chances are William was ready to give it a try. His joyful spirit, curiosity, and zest for life made him unforgettable to all who knew him.

Most importantly, William was our brother, our baby brother. We will miss him more than words can express. Though our hearts ache in his absence, our love for him remains as strong as ever.

A Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2949 US-50, Grand Junction, Colorado 81503. A reception will follow at the church.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Orchard Mesa Cemetery, 2620 Legacy Way, Grand Junction, Colorado 81503.
