

She married Wade Eugene Conwell on July 3, 1954, with this union she gained three children then they had seven of their own. Not only was she a mother and wife, she was also a driver and dispatcher for the local Yellow Cab company. She was a housewife that not only took care of her children but all the children in the neighborhood. She was said to make the best pot roast around. She loved all her children. After 30 years of marriage, she and Wade went their separate ways. However, that didn’t stop them from being a family.
On May 1, 1985, she married LaVar Weeks. They worked together at the State Home, later they drove the bus for the Sunrise Church of God, where they attended church for many years, this is also where some of their children and grandchildren attended as well. She was very hard-working, loving and caring, she was funny and loved to tell stories. She loved the Lord and spoke of Him often, she loved to sing old hymns, she loved camping and fishing, color Sundays, and anything that had to do with family. That made her the happiest.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her sisters, Sylvia Jackson, Katherine Meyers, Dorothy Spencer, and Leona Kauffman; her daughter, Cynthia Inskeep; and her three stepchildren, Kathy May, Linda Gould, and Mike Conwell. She is survived by her children, Roger Conwell, Roxana Woldridge, Christa Jo Whitmer, Timothy Conwell, Teresa Selders, Joseph Conwell, and all the other children who have called her mother over the years; her sisters, Sarah Kay and Mildred Middleton; and 25 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
