Zac was born on February 13, 1980 in Farmington, New Mexico to Frank and Lynn Gonzales. From the very beginning Zac's greatest joy in life was being surrounded by the people he loved. It never mattered what was on the agenda --whether it was a simple afternoon together or an exciting adventure-- if family and frineds were there, Zac was happy.
To know Zac, was to know someone who loved with his whole heart. He was the kind of person who would show up when you needed him, make you laugh when you were down, and make every gathering feel a little more complete just by being there. His friendships ran deep, and his family meant everything to him.
Some of Zac's favorite memories were made riding bikes through Seaside with his cousin Kristie, spending long days fishing with anyone willing to cast a line beside him, and heading out on off-road adventures with friends while sharing stories, laughter, and life's ups and downs. He had a true love for the outdoors and found happiness in the simple things like good conversation, a beautiful day, and time spent with those he cared about most.
Zac also had a special place in his heart for animals, espically his beloved cats. They were more than pets to him, they were his besties. He loved and cared for them deeply, and they brought him comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.
Although Zac never had children of his own, he was a proud and loving uncle to many neices and nephews whom he loved as if they were his own. He cherished every opportunity to spend time with them, watch them grow, and be a part of their lives. The love he gave them will remain with them forever.
Zac is survived by his loving parents, Frank and Lynn Gonzales; his many neices and nephews, countless cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness, loyalty and love.
Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in the countless memories and leaves behind. We will remember his laugh, his adventourous spirit, and the way he made everyone feel like family. the love Zac shared will continue to live on in all of us.
While his time here was far too short, the impact he made will last a lifetime.
A celebration of life will be held on June 27 at 1:00PM at Junction Community Church, with a dinner to follow.
