

Zelda Wilson passed away peacefully at HopeWest Care Center on July 4, 2017. Zelda was born in Grand Junction to Bill and Lillian Farmer on December 27, 1925. She attended local schools graduating from Grand Junction High School in 1943.
After graduation she followed her life career goal to become a registered nurse, and worked as a nurse in numerous healthcare areas until the age of 72. Zelda loved gardening, particularly her roses which brought her much joy. She stayed connected to her high school classmates, and delighted getting together with her friends for a game of bridge.
Zelda was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Lillian Farmer-Massey, and her daughter, Kay Lenwell.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Wilson; sister, Wink Dryden of Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Lee Ann Shobe of Grand Junction, CO, and Cindy Arnold of Elm Grove, WI; grandchildren, Robert Glantz, Jenny Ray, Matt Kirkendall, Ryan Arnold, Ami Arnold, Adam Arnold, and Megan Arnold; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The service will be held at Callahan Edfast on July 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
