Abel DeLeon

Abel married the love of his life, Jimmilie, on February 14, 1981. Together, they shared 44 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.

He enjoyed a successful career in management with Avail Company, where he was respected for his dedication and leadership. Outside of work, Abel was an avid outdoorsman. He had a deep passion for hunting and enjoyed spending time fishing and exploring nature.

Abel will be remembered for his strong spirit, love for the outdoors, and the legacy he leaves behind in those who knew and loved him.

Abel is survived by his wife Jimmilie ; children Abel Jr., James, Elias, and Melissa; siblings Jesse, Joe, Mary and Gloria; 7 grandchildren as well as numerous great grandchildren.

Abel is preceded in death in death by his parents, and his siblings, Frank and Ramona.

A visitation for Abel will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A committal service will occur Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 2:15 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
