

Albert Everett Davila, a devoted Christian and beloved servant of God, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on April 14, 1940, in Munday, Texas to Manuel Davila and Elvira Davila.
Albert met the love of his life, Gloria Maldonado, in Altus, Oklahoma. They were married on December 16, 1958, cherishing 65 years together, they had 5 children. During Albert’s illness, Gloria lovingly took care of him as his caregiver.
Albert was deeply devoted to his faith. At an early age, he accepted Christ and received the Holy Spirit. Leading by example, he ensured his family knew about serving God and to always put Him first.
Albert started his own wallcovering business in the early 1970’s. Gloria and the family learned this trade and built a successful business he loved until his retirement.
Albert was a warm and loving husband, father and grandfather. His presence in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him will be deeply missed.
Albert was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Guerrero Davila Sr., mother, Elvira Everett Davila, brothers, Manuel ‘Nelo’ Davila Jr., Alfred Davila, Roberto Davila, Alejandro Davila; sisters, Adela Tarango, Herminia Ramirez, Esther Ramos, Margarita Rodriguez, Adelina Mata and grandsons, Michael and Gabriel Davila.
Albert is survived by his wife, Gloria M. Davila, children Albert (Chino) Davila Jr. of Grand Prairie, Diana (Paul) Ochoa of Dallas, Carlos Davila and Danny Davila, both of Arlington, Ricky (Isabel) Davila of Irving, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by 2 brothers, Joe Davila, Sr. and Manuel Davila III, and 3 sisters, Lucia Davila, Maria Aparicio and Anita Davila.
