Alexander Paul Kolosta was born in Waxahachie, Texas on March 26, 1991 to Danny and Judy Kolosta.
Alex was an intelligent young man who graduated in the 2009 Class at Corsicana High School and continued his education at the University of North Texas in Denton for 3 years. Alex joined the United States Navy and was stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Chicago, Illinois. During his time in Chicago, Alex volunteered to tutor students in the local area and served at the local soup kitchen. He loved to help out others in need, previous volunteer work also included Habitat for Humanity.
Alex passed away on February 12, 2013 at the age of 21 to be with his Heavenly Father and was survived by both parents, his sister, a niece and nephew, his paternal grandparents, and various extended family members.
An open memorial will be on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11 am at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Corsicana, Texas. A private service for the family will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers for the family, please send donations to the Navarro County Habitat for Humanity.
