Allen Dale Slough

Allen Dale Slough, 71, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on July 5, 2023 at home with his family. He was born in Washington D.C on June 20,1952. Dale grew up in Appomattox, VA, where he was raised by grandparents, Joseph and Nannie.

Dale and Connie met and have been together since July, 1990, and they married on March 15, 1997.

Dale started as a truck driver at the age of 18, eventually working at Dallas Steel Drums, moving up to management.

He had a passion for spending time with his family, fishing and cooking, and listening to music, especially Rock and Roll.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Mckinley Slough, and Nannie Mae Rowles, and brother, Don Easley.

He is survived by his wife 33 years, Connie Slough, children: April Michelle Sears and Rachel Leann Ballou;

grandchildren: Michael Sears, Brittany Brimberry, Trista Johnson, Courtni Cooper, Derian Cooper, Kaley Cooper; great-grandchildren: Brian Brimberry, Tucker Sears, Jayden Adams, Soran Snell, Kendrick Martin, Aubrey, Haylee and Jaylee, Kenzlie Dunlap, plus 2 more great-grandchildren on the way. He is also survived by his sister, Hope Strohl.

Dale will be truly missed by his family that loves him very much!
