Amelia Ortiz

Amelia Ortiz who was born in Bishop,Texas and grew up in San Benito, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, in Arlington, Texas surrounded by loved ones. A proud graduate of San Benito High School, she began her career working at the Levi Strauss company in her hometown before moving to Grand Prairie, Texas.

She cherished her family deeply and made frequent trips back home to San Benito to celebrate holidays and special occasions with her parents and loved ones. Her vibrant spirit was reflected in her love for dancing, music, singing, sewing, and shopping. A devoted pet lover, she treated her furry companions as cherished members of her family.

As an active member of her church community, she found joy and comfort in worship and fellowship. Known for her infectious laughter and unwavering care, she always made time to be present for those she loved.

As the eldest daughter of nine siblings, she embraced the role of a mother figure to her siblings, nieces, and nephews, guiding and supporting them with kindness and strength.

Her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her dearly.
