Angie Lou Robinson, age 93, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in Arlington. Angie was born October 11, 1926 in Fort Worth, Texas to Clyde Adams Davis and Viola Mae Tennison.
Angie was very energetic and worked until she was 83 years of age. She had several jobs during her life including 20 years with Tandy Corporation, and 20 years with Walmart. She was bold but kind. She loved her family and loved kids. When she saw a baby, she would stop whatever she was doing, and she smiled and laughed. If you were sick, she made sure that you were taken care of. If you needed medication during the night, she would set her alarm to make certain you received it. Angie was very social and would strike up a conversation with a complete stranger at the market. She had a sense of humor that was contagious. She could light up a room and make everyone laugh with her silly, goofy, cutting up. She loved to see people smile.
Angie was classy and appreciated everything she had. She prayed every night, but not just for herself. She would ask the Lord to look out after her family and any others that she knew needed a prayer. She didn't ask for much, but gave everything. Her hardest time in life was when her daughter, Sandra Pruitt, passed away in 2016. But she has joined her in heaven now.
Angie is preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Mitchell; and her daughter, Sandra.
Survivors include son, Harold Robinson; sister, Betty Messer, son in law, Jack Pruitt, Sr.; grandchildren, Jack Pruitt, Jr., Angela Pruitt and Mandie Rice; and four great grandchildren.
