

Prior to her retirement, Anna enjoyed a successful 50-year career in customer service, including many years with American Airlines.
Anna had many hobbies, including arts and crafts, drawing, music, and movies. She was an avid reader who especially enjoyed Bible study. As a homemaker, she loved cooking, sewing, and gardening. She was also a passionate sports fan, fiercely loyal to her beloved Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions.
Anna is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ronald Anthony Johnson of Irving, Texas; her sisters, Antoinette, and Helen, both of Detroit; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Hubbard Sr., and Lena Bartow Hubbard; her sister, Cornelia Brown; and her brothers, Eugene Hubbard Jr. and Robert Hubbard.
Anna was a gentle spirit with a warm, loving, and caring nature. She was always ready to help, giving generously of herself to her community and numerous charities.
Anna will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. She always kept God at the head of her life.
