Barbara Jane Peery

She was born in Maxwelton, WV on January 4, 1946.

Barbara graduated from Paseo High School and received her Registered Nurse Degree from El Centro College.

She was married to William A. Peery on May 31, 1964.

Barbara had a career in nursing and worked for various hospitals, including Parkland, Methodist Dallas and Medical City Arlington, before retiring as Director of Nursing for the Estates.

She had served in various positions at her church, including Women's Ministry leader. She had a passion for nursing and women and children's advocacy programs.

She is survived by children, Tammy Andrews, Tracey Stevens, Robin Thomason, Christina Peterson, Aperil Gregory (Chris); Grandchildren, Jarod Andrews, Joshua Andrews, Autumn Stevens, Brian Peery, Meghann Ramirez, Jessica Garcia (Rod), Amanda Cisneros (Martin), Emily Peterson, Jacob Peery, William H. Peery, Dillon Peery; Great-Grandchildren, Caitlyn Andrews, Carly Andrews, Colin Evans, Alexis Ramirez, Crystal Ramirez, Isaiah Ramirez, Margot Garcia, Milo Garcia, Noah Cisneros, Nathan Cisneros, Nicolas Cisneros; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Jazzlyn Ramirez, Capri Ramirez; Brother, William Wiley (Kathy) and sister, Connie Wiley. She is preceeded in death by her Mother, Jewell Blevins, Father, William E. Wiley and sons-in-law Al Andrews & Michael Peterson.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 12:00 pm, July 21, at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, Grand Prairie, TX. Visitation starts at 10:00 am before the service and following the service, Committal service to be held at the DFW National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
