Barbara Jean Weaver

Barbara was united in marriage to Jack M. Weaver on March 17, 1951, at Ft. Myer, Virginia where he was serving in the US Army. They were married 69 years when he went to his heavenly home. They were reunited in heaven on the 74th anniversary date of their wedding.

Barbara enjoyed a long-standing career as a factory production-planner at a steel processing plant in Warren, Ohio. She was a loving, devoted mother and wife to her family. She especially loved serving the Lord and helping others in many ways. A member of First Assembly of God Church in Warren, Ohio for many years, she enjoyed working with children as a Sunday School teacher. She later attended Grace Fellowship Church in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she was a member of the Foundation Builder’s Ministry. Her hobbies included interior decorating, arts & crafts, scrapbooking and creating custom greeting-cards for every occasion.

In addition to her husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother and parents. She is survived by her son Jack Weaver, Jr. and wife Joyce of Grand Prairie, Texas, three grandchildren Jennifer Weaver, Angela Weaver and Paulette (Clem) Harris, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A committal service and interment alongside her husband will take place on April 14th, 2025 at 3PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
