

Benjamin Gonzalez, age 60, passed away in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. He was born on September 13, 1965, in Monterrey, Mexico, to Bertha Guadalupe Duarte Sifuentes and Benjamin Gonzalez Bosques.
His family includes his wife, Arlene Gonzalez; his daughter, Salma Gonzalez; his sons, Dennis Gonzalez and Alan Hernandez Sanchez; his stepdaughters, Cecily Mata and Jade Canales, his mother, Bertha Guadalupe Duarte Sifuentes, sister, Noemi Gonzalez Duarte; and two brothers, Fernando Gonzalez and Jaime Gonzalez. Benjamin loved his family deeply.
Benjamin was a hardworking man who worked in masonry. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strength, skill, dependability, and willingness to help others. He was the kind of person family members could call when they were stranded with a flat tire, and he would come without hesitation—even on a cold, rainy day.
He had a youthful, childlike spirit, a playful sense of humor, and a joyful smile that brought happiness to those around him. Benjamin loved gatherings with family and friends, where he could laugh, joke, listen to music, and enjoy the company of others. His warmth, energy, and fun-loving personality often made him the life of the party.
Benjamin loved working with his hands and enjoyed the challenge of repairing and working on cars. He especially loved Mustangs, Firebirds, Challengers, and pickup trucks. He also collected and worked on bicycles and enjoyed BMX bike riding and roller skating.
An adventurous outdoorsman, Benjamin loved fishing, kayaking, camping, mountain climbing, and spending time in nature. He was also an animal lover who had a special place in his heart for his dogs and birds.
Music was an important part of Benjamin’s life. His favorite music was from the 1980s, and he also enjoyed Spanish rock and conjunto music.
Benjamin will be remembered for his hardworking nature, caring heart, generosity, joyful smile, playful sense of humor, and willingness to help anyone in need. His laughter, kindness, and joyful presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
