Betty Jean Dye

Betty Jean Dye, age 89, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Betty was born on September 17, 1932 in Bogata, Texas. She was one of 5 daughters born to James Richard Hoover and Ila Elisbeth (Morgan) Hoover. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her 4 sisters, her husband David W. Dye and her son, Richard "Richie" Dye. She is survived by her children, Louise Wheeler, Carlton Lewis, Vickie Fulton, David Dye and Tim Dye; 12 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren. As well as her nieces, nephews, other family and many friends, all who will miss her very much. Visitation for Betty will be held from 6 - 8 pm Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Funeral Services will occur at 8:00 am on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home followed by interment at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
