Mark's family moved to Texas when he was between 4 and 5 years old. They moved between Austin, Lubbock and finally settled in Grand Prairie, where Mark graduated from South Grand Prairie High School in 1983. He attended Mountain View College where he made the Dean's List and UT Arlington where he received a scholarship for music. In the early years he enjoyed playing the piano, trombone and composing music or converting trombone music to other instruments.
Later in life he worked as technical support for Athena Healthcare. He loved animals and even went as far as attending the pet stylist institute to become a pet stylist. He enjoyed traveling with his best friend, gambling at WinStar, gardening and being a great neighbor. When he did his yard he would often mow his neighbors yard.
