Bobbie Jean Carroll died October 8, 2017. She was born July 8, 1945 in Grand Prairie, Texas to J.J and Mamie Blodgett.

Bobbie graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1963. She was a bubbly person who enjoyed her work. She spent many years as an executive assistant while working part time doing taxes for H&R Block. She did taxes for 37 years and loved every minute of it.

When Bobbie was 13 years old she made a great friend in David who she met through her church. Time passed and in 1979 she re-connected with David and the two were married in 1985. Bobbie love working with her computer and handling money. Her biggest hobby was her work. She was a member of Matthew Road Baptist Church for 10 years and the treasurer for the Lone Star Cyclist Club.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her mother Mamie Annie Stagner Blodgett and father J. J. Blodgett.

She is survived by her husband David Carroll; children: Travis Crawford and his wife, Vivian, Tracy Crawford and his wife, Paulene, Kelly Herring and brother Tommy C. Blodgett and his wife, Tina.
