Buddy Adams

Buddy Adams of Grand Prairie died June 2, 2015 at the age of 93. He was a devoted husband and father who fully enjoyed life and the many friendships he developed over the years. He served in the Navy during WWII as a radio operator in the South Pacific. He established a successful insurance agency in

Grand Prairie during the 1950’s retiring to Cedar Creek Lake in 1984. Living on Cedar Creek Lake was like a fourteen year vacation he would always like to say before returning to Grand Prairie in 1998 because of his wife’s declining health. Buddy was preceded in death by his wife Beth in 2011. Both enjoyed their lives together and their years in Grand Prairie where they were active in social circles enjoying golf , bridge and travel. He is survived by his son , Mark Adams of Colleyville; daughter, Debbie Norton , son-in-law Jerry Norton of Mansfield; grandchildren, Robin McGlothin, Patrick Norton, Stuart Adams and Andrew Adams and grandchild, Melissa McGlothin.

Visitation will be held at Bean Massey Burge Chapel, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, on Tuesday, June 9, from 10:00 - 11:00 am. immediately prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
