I worked closely with Carl for the last 6 years. I cannot thank him enough for the incredible level of support and encouragement that he gave me in my career and also as a friend. He supported me as a writer, colleague, leader, and even as I became a new mom.

Carl had a great sense of humor, innovative approach to problem-solving, and he truly cared deeply for everyone he worked with. I feel very blessed to have known him and I will miss him greatly.

Carl was an extraordinary person. I had the honor and privilege of working with him for 8 years. One of Carl’s most joyous moments was when he and Scott were finally able to marry. We were thrilled and delighted to celebrate this beautiful event with him. He had so much love to give. Carl always spoke from the heart and that made him one of the most genuine humans I knew. We will always remember and cherish the many funny, insightful and loving qualities he brought to our office. The world lost a beautiful soul far too soon. He will be sorely missed.
