Carlton Sam Russel, 60, of Grand Prairie, passed away on July 11, 2013. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Russell was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on January 22, 1953 to Sam Russell and Frances Markham. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bobby and Gordon Russell. He worked for Dallas Independent School District. He is survived by his son, Samuel Russell (Angela) and grandsons Samuel Houston Russell and Jacob Ford Russell; his daughter, Carla Halstead (Brad) and grandchildren Ashlynn and Zachary Halstead; stepson, Johnathon Shane Partridge and family; sister, Shoolie Cruz and family; brother, Larry Russell and family;Jeremy Russell and family, Shawn Russell and family, Chad Russell and family, Michelle Armstrong and family, Larry Russell and family, Becky Russell and family, Linda Cruz and family, Tony Cruz and family, Little Rudy, Robert Russell and family, Melissa and Ricky Heart, Renae Robbins, Debra Honeycut and family and many friends who were family.
