Carol Ann Bement

Carol Ann Bement passed away February 11, 2014. She was born May 30, 1934 to Harry and Vera Elliott. She grew up in Grand Prairie, TX and graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1951. After graduation on September 8, 1951 she married John Elvis Bement at the First United Methodist Church where she was a member. Carol was the PTA president and a life time member, involved in Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, a Sunday school teacher and member of Sparklers. She also spent time working at Watson’s Department Store.She is preceded in death by her husband John Elvis Bement; parents Harry Clemmons Elliott, Vera Lee Dodgen; sister Peggy Apple.She is survived by her children John Bement Jr. and wife Cindy, James Bement and wife Sheryl, Leigh Davis and husband Barry; grandchildren Lori Stewart and husband Drew, John W. Bement, James K. Bement and wife Rachel, Krista Marston and husband Josh, Will Davis, Lindsay Davis, Jackson Davis; great-grandchild Stone Stewart. Visitation will be Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 2-5pm at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home 2951 S. Beltline Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Services will be Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11am at First United Methodist Church of Grand Prairie 122 N. Center St. Grand Prairie, TX 75050.Interment will be Monday, February 17, 2014 at 1pm at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
