Catarina M Torres

She grew up in Valle Hermoso, Tamps Mexico. Catarina worked on a Ranch owned by Jose Trevino. They fell in love and were married in 1954. They spent 12 wonderful years together before she lost Jose. In 1990 Catarina moved her family to Grand Prairie, Texas where she worked as a local care giver. She enjoyed playing cards, buying lottery tickets, being outdoors and cooking tamales.

She was a very strong and loving woman of God. Always caring and helping others, she was warrior who never gave up. As a mother she was very protective and wanted to keep the family together. She could be stern and understanding and made the holiday’s big and family fun.

She is survived by her children: Julieta Trevino, Jose Trevino and his wife, Martha, Aida Trevino, Diego Trevino and his wife, Norma, Tomas Trevino and his wife, Isabel, Irene Loera and her husband, Raul, Adriana Cisneros and her husband, Jose; grandchildren: Jorge Adame, Jose Adame, Diana Trevino, Nancy Trevino, Jose Trevino, Rafael Jimenez, Axel Jimenez, Karen Jimenez, Diego Trevino, Jose Luis Trevino, Edgar Trevino, Selina Trevino, Oscar Trevino, Fabiola Trevino, Jonathan Trevino, Alex Trevino, Sara Cavazos, Raul Loera, Emely Loera, Bryanna Rosales, Savannah Rosales; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers: Salvador Guevara, Manuel Guevara; sisters: Mercedes Torres, Rosa Gonzalez and her husband, Ricardo and Panchis Molina and her husband, Jaime.
