Anyone who knew him would recognize his intelligence, humor, and warm personality.
His family knew him as the official videographer and photographer; documenting memories we shared through his skill with technology and sound logistics. He loved hosting parties with karaoke, rock music, and especially his favorite band, The Beatles. Other hobbies he had was bird watching, gardening, spending time in nature, and traveling.
Cesar was born in Batangas, Philippines on February 22nd, 1950 by parents Pedro and Sofia Llaga. He received his Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering at Adamson University of Manila.
He worked with world leading companies such as 3M, as a Technical Service Supervisor and Engineer before immigrating to the United States in 1993, and Poly-America as a Laboratory Supervisor for 21 years. His contributions to the field of chemical engineering can be recognized through many awards, such as the most notable, the Technical Circle of Excellence for his introduction and development of the Destructible Poultry Labeling Tape, a product still used today.
He remained active in professional networking by becoming a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the North Texas Asian American Cultural Association, where he also upheld a position as the auditor.
He is survived by his wife Josefina Llaga, sons Caesar Joseph Llaga and Christopher Llaga, and daughters Aileen Trinidad and Anne Christine.
The viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 from 12:00-8:00PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home. Located at 2951 S. Beltline Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 21st, 2021 from 9:30-10:30AM at St. Michael, the Archangel Church, at 2910 Corn Valley Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052 and officiated by Fr Joseph Trinh.
