Charles Smith Alexander, 82, passed away December 19, 2018, in Grand Prairie, TX. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and a best friend to anyone he met. Prior to his retirement he was the owner of Metro Tool and Manufacturing in Grand Prairie, TX.
Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sandra Black Alexander; daughter Joan Alexander Wright and Husband Brent; sons Philip and Scott Alexander; grandchildren Stacie Bodine, Stefanie Satterwhite, Storie Satterwhite, Makayle Alexander, Devin Erickson, Blake and Chase Alexander, and great-grand daughter Eloise Kirkham. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Armstrong of Sherman, TX and Sue Works of San Antonio, TX.
There will be a viewing from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday December 21st at Bean Massey funeral home 2951 S Belt Line Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
Funeral will be held 10:00am Saturday December 22nd at Crosspoint Church of Christ 3020 Bardin Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Interment will be at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX.
A private burial will be held Monday December 24th.
