Charles “Chile” Bigham, born in Dallas 9.1.30, left this world peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family on 12.3.14. A graduate of Adamson High School, he attended the University of Texas where he earned All-American status as a 1st baseman in 1951. Always a ballplayer, he played senior’s slow pitch well into his 70’s. Everyone loved Chile as he never met a stranger. His wit, optimism and love of life will be missed by all who were touched by him. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeannene; 4 children: Mike, Mark and wife, Sherry; Denise and husband Ted, and; Matt. Known as “Big Daddy” to 8 grandchildren: Zach Bigham, Wensdy Stucky, Kyle Frank, Lance Frank, Bailey Bigham, Cody Bigham, Rachel Bigham and Jacqueline Jeannene Bigham; 7 great grandchildren: Nona Bigham, Avery Bigham, Calvin Bigham, Kennedy Stucky, Kate Stucky, Christopher Bigham and Eleanor Williams.
