Charles "Terry" Howard

Charles Terrell “Terry” Howard passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday June 1st, 2016. Terry was born in Stinson Texas to Claude and Imogene Howard on May 29th 1938. He attended Arlington High School and served in the US Navy for 4 years. He then graduated from Mountain View College with an associates degree. Terry worked and retired from Bell helicopter after 35 years of service. He also achieved the highest Masonic rank as a 33 Degree Master Mason with Webb Lodge #1454. Terry was a resident of Grand Prairie TX since 1962. Terry was married to Lucille Mable Howard for almost 50 years until her death in 2008. Together they had 3 children Kelly, Tracy and Kim. Later in life he met Concepcion (Connie) Garza and they were married on December 18th, 2013 until his death. He was a step father to Victor, Greg Garza and Nicole Garza-Wyand. Terry had 6 Grand Children, 9 Step Grand Children and 5 Great Children. Terry (Pawpaw) loved to sail and had a passion for cars. He enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his first Wife Lucille Mabel Howard and son Tracy Lance Howard. Survivors: He leaves behind his Wife Concepcion E. (Connie) Howard, Son Kelly Howard and his wife Amy, daughter Kim and her husband Jess Miller. His step children Victor, Greg Garza, Nicole Garza-Wyand and her husband Joseph Wyand. Numerous grand children, great grand children, Step grand children, cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed.
