Charles Gorman Strickland was born on May 20, 1945 to H.R. and Ione Strickland. He left this world for his Heavenly home on March 24, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jere Juan, half brothers William, Eugene and Richard, step-son Bill. He is survived by his wife, Betty; stepdaughter Sue (Wade), step-sons; Tommy (Missy), Paul (Dora) and Stephen (Frances), brother Jim (Donna) and numerous grand-children, nieces and nephews. Charles was born and raised in Cedar Hill, Texas and has lived the last 40 years, in Grand Prairie TX. with his wife and family. "He never met a stranger and never forgot a name." He will be greatly missed.
