

He was born in Dallas, Texas on July 27, 1956. Darrel married Glenda Louise Melton on June 30, 1978, and together they shared 47 wonderful years of marriage.
Darrel worked for Atlas Match and LTV, where he was known for his dedication and hard work. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, hobbies that brought him peace and joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Glenda Louise Melton Williams, and his children, Sheila Diane Williams and Brian Dwayne Williams.
Darrel is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Jean Williams Garner, and his stepdad, Charles Williams.
He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his devotion to his family, and the quiet strength he carried through life.
Burial arrangements are being handled by Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth St. Grand Prairie, Texas 75050. There are no public services planned at this time.
