I just learned of Daryl's passing. I am saddened and in shock. He became our family mechanic quite by accident and did all our work and any towing needs we ever had. He was particularly fond of our son and his red Chevy truck. Often he would see him and follow until he would stop just to say hi.
My greatest sympathies to you his wife, and his children. Your husband and father was a tremendous man and we will miss him and his fun loving personality as we know you will.
Gods blessings of peace for you.

So sorry to hear of our dear friends sudden passing. He would tow cars to my shop(Cash Auto Repair) and we would talk about different things and old times. We knew him for years, and he was so enjoyable to be around, and I know you and your family will truly miss him. God bless him and your family, as I know he will be truly missed by all. ..... I have known
Daryl for over 30 years and also knew his Dad. They were the best mechanics in town. We used his tow service every time we needed a tow. I had not needed the service for a long time; however, I always thought of him when we drove thru Jefferson street. My condolences to his wife, son and all the family. He was a wonderful and helpful person. He would serve you anytime of the day and night if you needed him. Grand Prairie will certainly miss him.
My condolences to his family.

Daryl was such a great friend and person from High School and throughout his life. So many times he came to the rescue of many of us. I saw him help people who couldn't afford his service. He was someone all of us could emulate. As selfish as I am to want more time with him, I am sure that he earned his wings so many, many years ago. We celebrate you, my friend. Your smile is now part of the light. You live on in all of our hearts through wonderful memories.

We were teenagers and he came to my house on Varsity st. He came to play cards and he was all dressed up and had on his dads shoes that were slightly to large for him. He was such a gentleman. He will be misssd.
