David Nanez Ramirez, born December 21, 1948 in San Angelo, TX, left to be with the Lord on Friday, April 26, 2013. David is survived in death by his wife, Sylvia Ramirez, mother, Carmen Ramirez, six siblings: Alice Trillo, Hector Ramirez, Linda Scarborough, Christine Mata, James Ramirez, and Daniel Ramirez, three children: David, Michelle, and Grace, thirteen grandchildren: Aaron, Tiffany, Sebastian, Frank, Josh, Hayley, Valerie, Dyanhle, Marisol, Madelyn, Jeremiah, Marissa, and Juliette, and one great-grandchild, Isaiah. He served in The United States Army and was an active military member during the Vietnam War, where he was wounded in battle and received a purple heart. David loved spending time with his family, reading the Bible, and most of all, he loved the Lord. He enjoyed Sunday barbeques, football games, and being around his grandchildren, who were his greatest joy in life. David was loved and will be greatly missed. The family will hold wake services on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Funera Services on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Rd. in Grand Prairie, Texas, 75052. With Military Honors Presentation to follow at the DFW National Cemetary at 1:00 p.m., in recognition of his honorable service to the country.
