David was a devoted father and grandfather whose pride and joy were his children and grandson Jace. He is survived by his eldest daughter Tonice Rhea Krueger, her husband Jared Krueger, and grandson Jace James Krueger; by his youngest daughter Jean Ann Mitchell and her husband Dustin Mitchell; mother Doris Jeane White; sisters Linda Diane King and MaryLynn Pierce; brother Jeffery White and their spouses, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his father William Dean White and wife Teresa Jean White.
David was a strong Christian man who lead by example. His faith in God and his integrity were unwavering and unquestionable. David served in the US Army and Army National Guard. He loved his family, country, military history, playing guitar, airplanes, fly fishing, and teaching. David was a “jack of all trades” who loved to share his knowledge with others. He could teach you to build a house just as well as he could teach you to strip down a tank and rebuild it again. He loved sharing stories from his service in the US Army and based much of his profound advice from scriptures in the Bible. He was a kind man who always had an incredible smile on his face. He loved his job and was referred to as “Dave” and “Blanco” by his closest colleagues and friends. David will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
A commital service for David will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 9:30 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
