Dawn Marie McRight

Dawn was mother to Lyric and Nevaeh Hernandez and was married to Wesley McRight on July 2, 2021.

Dawn worked for Ferguson Fire for over 20 years, where so many co-workers became family to her.

Dawn was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Grand Prairie where she volunteered in various groups such as the St Monica’s Woman Prayer Group and St Vincent De Paul Group.

She is survived by her husband Wes, children Lyric and Nevaeh, her mother Yvonne, sister Tiffany Jackson and brother- in-law Simon Jackson, maternal Grandmother Zoe Ramirez and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and so many friends that became family.

She is preceded in death by her father Thomas Rakowski, paternal grandparents, TJ and Irene Rakowski and maternal grandfather Ralph Ramirez.

Dawn had such a huge love for family and always loved getting the family together for any occasion. She always had a special way of making you feel better with her smile.

Visitation will be held June 20th from 5PM-7PM with a Rosary beginning at 7PM at Bean-Massey Funeral Home.

A Mass Service will be held Tuesday June 21st at 10AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 610 NE 17th St Grand Prairie, TX 75050
