Don Everett Kirton

Don Everett Kirton was born January 1, 1934, in Ben-Hur Texas to Marvin and Avis Kirton. He passed away May 8, 2026, in Frisco Texas. Don grew up working on the farm with lots of animals with his family in Mart, Texas. He graduated from Mart High School. He served in the Navy then graduated from Baylor University.

Don was a great man, very family oriented, and loved to spend time together with his cousins every month. Spending time with his granddaughters, his sons Duane, Christopher, and his daughter Shae. He cherished all those memories, and he had a great sense of humor. Some of his favorite things was to travel across the world, read, listen to classical music, and do crossword puzzles. He was an avid sport fan and he was also a faithful member of the Inglewood Methodist Church in Grand prairie Texas. He was a beloved father, grandfather and husband to his wife Sylvia of 48 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Ledbetter Kirton, his sister Darlene Fowler, his parents Marvin and Avis and sons Duane & Ricky, and his granddaughter Bailey Kirton

He is survived by his daughter Shae Reed, his son Christopher Kirton, his grandkids Anna-Lise, Joel, Heather, Michael Don, Kevin, Shannon, Mandy, and 6 great grandkids and many other family members. He will be missed by many.
