

Donald Ewell Lambert, 71, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away April 16, 2016, son of Ewell and Mary Lambert, Loving husband of Lisa Lambert, born on May 30, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 pm., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Grace Place Church of Christ in Duncanville. Visitation: 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2016 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie. Burial: 2:30 p.m, Monday, April 25, 2016 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Grace Place Church of Christ or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America in his name. Donald served in the Army at Fort Cambell Kentucky in the 101st airborne division from 1970 to 1974 and received an accounting degree from Texas Wesleyan College. He was an active part of his family's wellbeing and a member of the Duncanville Church of Christ. Donald used to participate in his local barbershop quartet, as well as the Rotary Club, but his true passion was reading mystery novels. He will be tragically missed by his family and friends. Donald would tell stories about his family history. He was preceded in death by sister, Linda Gayle Massey. Survivors: wife, Lisa Lambert, daughter, Evelyn Lambert, siblings; Ronald Lambert, Paula Hardy, Phyllis Moore, Debra Guenzel and 15 nieces and nephews; 30 great nieces and nephews. He was affectionally known to all of his nieces and nephews as
“Uncle Don Don”.
