Dorothy Ruth Britt

Dorothy Britt was born March 15, 1938, in Texarkana, Texas. She loved the Lord and served Him all of her adult life. Her biggest mission was working with children in Sunday School.That was very special to her! She also enjoyed reading and checking out books from the library regularly. Her other special joy came from her doggies -- to the extent of her photo album being filled with dog pictures, and lot of her time being filled with walking dogs.

Dorothy graduated from Texas High School in Texarkana and attended Tarrant County Junior College for two years. In the business world, Dorothy worked at Zales Corporation in Irving for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her older sister Alice Marie Britt. She is survived by her sister Betty Hiltbrunner of Fort Worth, by her niece Lana Pentony and her son Kyle Pentony, her nephew Randell Hiltbrunner and his wife Julie Hiltbrunner and their son Jack Hiltbrunner, and by her brother John Britt and his children Lara Britt and James Britt.

Dorothy will be laid to rest in her hometown, Texarkana, at a later date.
