Dorothy Ann Joiner Ottmo -- Dottie -- was born in Mangham, Louisiana, August 5, 1940, to Delmon Arlo Joiner and Annie Mae Joiner. She departed from this world into the arms of the Lord Jesus on April 7, 2017 in Mansfield, Texas. She is survived by two daughters: Angie Roden and husband Steve and Michelle Hackler and husband Larry; sister Sandie Shepherd and husband Tom; brothers Dan Joiner and wife Marilyn, Dave Joiner, and Donnie Joiner and wife Glenna; granddaughter Bethany Hignight and husband Randy; grandson Benjamin Roden; and great granddaughter Aubrey Hignight. Dottie was a paralegal by profession and worked for several law firms throughout her career. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Chapel, 2951 South Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens across the street from the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, April 13, at the funeral home.
