

Drenda Kay Moor, 67, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2025, in Mansfield, Texas. She was born on December 28, 1957, in Marlin, Texas, to Billie Clyde Hunt and the late William Glenn Hunt.
Drenda dedicated 48 years to her career at BrassCraft Western in Lancaster, Texas, where she built lasting friendships and earned the respect of all who knew her.
Beyond her work, Drenda’s greatest joy was her family. She had a special way of bringing people together, turning any occasion into a celebration. She taught those around her that family isn’t just about blood—it’s about friendship, support, and the deep bonds we nurture. She embodied the true meaning of love and unity, creating a family circle where everyone felt cherished.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Drenda’s warmth and kindness were evident in every relationship she built. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald James Moor; her daughters, Kelsey Yarbrough and Kayla Stevens; and her son-in-law, Justin Stevens. She was also a beloved grandmother to Austyn Yarbrough, Gage Yarbrough, Charlie Kay Stevens, and Cameron Ray Stevens.
She is also survived by her mother, Billie Clyde Hunt; her siblings, Beth Hunt, Lisa Smitherman, and Glen Hunt; brothers-in-law, Rickie Hunt and Michael Smitherman; and sister-in-law, Laura Hunt. Drenda was a cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews: Michael Salazar, Abby Salazar, Garrick Smitherman, Kelsay Smitherman, R.J. Hunt, Jamie Hunt, Parker Hunt, Madison Hunt, Sara Smitherman, Tyler Gutierrez, and Sadi Hunt.
Drenda’s family and friends will forever remember her kindness, her unwavering love, and her dedication to those she held dear. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A service will be held on April 2, 2025.
