To all of Duke's friends and family,
my heart goes out to you, just as Duke always did the same for anyone close to him. I met Duke at Hawaii Loa college where we lived in the same dorm. He was fun and energetic and if you met him you would never forget. Rest in peace Duke, my prayers are with you and your loved ones,

To all of the Roberts Family,
I knew Duke at Hawaii Loa College. All I can say is we had a ton of fun and then lost touch over the years but he was always a FRIEND I thought of fondly and when I got sober I tried to find him until today. May you all know my prayers and thoughts are with you all. He will always be smiling to me.
Rest in Peace.

Just found out about Duke yesterday. My sincere condolences to the family. I met Duke in 1995, and he was always a great friend. He was always the first to step forward, and offer anyone a helping hand. He helped me out many times. We traveled all over America, met many interesting people, saw amazing sights, and learned a lot about life together. He always had a constant dedication to his family, friends, and charities. He was the hardest working man, that I think I ever met. He will be greatly missed by many. RIP Duke
