Blassingame, Edward Alvin Born October 28, 1940 in Los Angeles, California to Vernon and Magdalene (Davis) Blassingame passed away December 8, 2010 with his loving wife Sandra by his side, at their home in Wynnewood, OK. He graduated from Cedar Hill, Texas in 1959. After graduation he chose the honorable profession of Electician. he was a 50+ year member of the local #20, Dallas, Texas. Mr. Blassingame served in the US Navy Seabees from 1966-1968. He travelled the country making numerous life long friends and fueling his love of antiquing and hot rodding. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sandra. Three children, Edward Blassingame, Edie Miller and Holly Habicht, two step children, April Polson and Charles Lee Steed. Ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Viewing will be held Monday, December 13, 2010 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services and burial will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 10:30am.
