Edythe S. Campbell

Edythe Mary Jane Scully Campbell, 91, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home. Funeral is Friday, 9 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 610 N.E. 17th St., Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Interment: Southland Memorial Park. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to Hospice of Saint John, 1320 Everett Court, Lakewood, CO 80215, www.hospiceofsaintjohn.org. We would like to give special thanks to Meridian Retirement Community and Hospice of St. John who provided great compassion and care for her during her final days. Edythe was preceded in death by her husband, James Campbell; her brothers Allen and William; her sister Annabel; and her nephews, John Scully and Allen Scully. She is survived by her son, Robert Mathews, wife, Mary, and grandson, Collin of Colorado; niece, Barbara L’Archer of Florida, and nephews, Joe Scully of Texas, and William Scully of Washington. Edythe is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews living in Texas and Florida.
