Elvira Perez Diaz (Vera)

Born January 13th, 1932 to Eusbio and Maria Perez

She passed away at home amoung Family on October 13th 2022

She lived and extraordinary and wonderful 90 years of life

Born in Dallas,TX and lived in Grand Prairie, TX for 46 years. Elvvira had a wholesome laughter could fill a room. She was not afraid to speak her mind. Mom/Vera had several jobs but she loved working at Taylor Publishing, until she was Promoted to Momo, she loved all her Grandchildren and Greatgrand Children

She had a Love for Thrifttown, and Tupperware. She loved to watch the Lawrence Welk show every Saturday. She made the best Carrot Cake, potatoes salad, and Azzore con Leche. We loved when she made her chicken soup especially when we were sick. She loved Plants and had a Green thumb. She loved to travel and had been to Canada twice. Mom loved Pearls,and was always excited to wear them as often as she could.

Vera as she was called by many is survived by her Husband Pedro Diaz and they were married 46 years

Vera is also survived by her three daughters

Erma Gutierrez, Margaret Muñoz, Jessica Cabrera and her

7 Grandkids;

Matthew Maldonado, Gabriella McCormick, Samantha Muñoz, Sabrina Muñoz, Damian Buenrostro and Oscar Buenrostro III.

Along with 8 Greatgrand Children

Favian Cabrera, Maci Maldonado, Zoey Cabrera (her bestie) Jett McCormick, Luka Romero, Josiah Buenrostro, Oscar Buenrostro IV and Isaiah Buenrostro

A visitation for Elvira will be held Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 31, 2022 at 12:00 PM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2910 Corn Valley Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A committal service will occur Monday, October 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
